CERTIFICATION TRAINING

Courses meet and exceed ASNT SNT-TC-1A / CP-105 to provide training certifications and the most comprehensive thermography learning available.

LEVEL I CERTIFICATION
Level I Certification - Electrical

Introduction to thermal imaging and measurement systems for indoor electrical predictive/preventive maintenance and utility inspection

AUDIENCE: Beginning infrared camera users or practicing thermographers. No prerequisites.

CERTIFICATION: Attendees who complete the course requirements and assessment will receive Level I Infrared thermography training certification.

COURSE OBJECTIVES

  • Safely and effectively inspect commercial and industrial electrical systems using thermal imaging

  • Analyze common thermal patterns attributed to electrical faults

  • Apply meaningful and accurate measurements

  • Create reports and apply analysis using reporting software

  • Avoid mistakes by learning to identify true patterning

Level I Certification - Building

Introduction to thermal imaging and measurement systems for building inspection applications

AUDIENCE: Beginning infrared camera users or practicing thermographers. No prerequisites.

CERTIFICATION: Attendees who complete the course requirements and assessment will receive Level I Infrared thermography training certification.

COURSE OBJECTIVES

  • Safely and effectively inspect building components including insulation, air flow, moisture, construction, masonry, roofing and mechanical systems (e.g. hvac, plumbing) using thermal imaging technology

  • Identify and analyze common building anomalies

  • Apply meaningful and accurate measurements

  • Create reports and apply analysis using reporting software

  • Avoid mistakes by learning to identify true patterning

Level I Certification - Nondestructive Testing (NDT)

Introduction to thermal imaging and measurement systems related to electrical and mechanical systems, OGI and NDT testing and spans all applications

AUDIENCE: Beginning infrared camera users or practicing thermographers. No prerequisites.

CERTIFICATION: Attendees who complete the course requirements and assessment will receive Level I Infrared thermography training certification.

COURSE OBJECTIVES

  • Safely and effectively inspect electrical (switchgear, bus ducts, motor control centers, distribution panels, breakers, etc.), mechanical (bearings, belts, gear boxes, heat exchangers, valves, filters, etc.) and optical gas imaging (gas leak detection and repair), and NDT (lamination, bonding, extrusions, web process, etc.) applications

  • Operate and troubleshoot equipment

  • Analyze common thermal patterns attributed to each specific testing method

  • Apply meaningful and accurate measurements

  • Create reports and apply analysis using reporting software

  • Avoid mistakes by learning to distinguish between true patterns and reflections
